Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Leader in Me helps schools create a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.

Many great things happen at Tom Joy Magnet through family and community collaboration. Our school offers programs that enhance Tennessee state standards, including fine arts, music, Reading Homework Hotline, Reading Clinic, instructional coaches and interventionists, Second Harvest Food Pantry, 21st-century technology in classrooms for teachers and students, as well as GATE for our gifted and talented students.
