As a Digital Literacy and Leadership Magnet, Tom Joy incorporates the purposeful use of digital tools to build student engagement, empower student voice, and create more meaningful learning experiences. Our students work with real-world technologies to learn and communicate.

Tom Joy Digital Literacy & Leadership Magnet Elementary is located in East Nashville down the street from Grimey's music, McFerrin Park, Five Points and more. The area is growing, changing and reflecting the diversity of our city just like Tom Joy Magnet. 

If you live in the Tom Joy zone, there is no need to apply, but we also accept students from anywhere in Davidson County using the School Options process.
